Fuel efficient on normal driving but don't expect too much if you're heavy footer or spirited driver.
very spacious and good rear passenger space.
Engine is very reliable and able to high rev when you want.
handling is very good never gives you the chill of understeer.
Aircon is very good of course thanks to the Proton, never goes wrong with AC dept.

Door seal rubber not that kind of strong, it tends to wear off faster. i hope proton will acknowledge this quality issues.
Limited part on Proton Centre, everytime have to order and have to wait, Fast they ask to go to Mitsubishi.
I know this is a rebadged Lancer but don't you have any sense that buying spare parts from other OEM will affect your business and sales. Respect Your Customer!
I don't have any major issues with the car, overall built from proton is on par with mitsubishi, all the common issue with Inspira is common for Lancer GT and EVO X as well.
Kindly improve your after sales and Proton SC Staff.
-Smooth 6-speed automatic transmission, CVT means there's no lagging gear switching.
-There is clutch-less manual mode of total 6 speeds to play with, if you're feeling for a high-rev drive.
-Comfortable and economical for city drive. Soft suspension, it absorbs uneven surfaces well.
-Car is stable at high speed, would recommend upgrading the 16-in tires to 17-in though.
-This is the cheapest C-segment car to maintain and repair. Parts are simple and easy to find.
-It doesn't look very dated compared to other C-seg like Civic and Altis, as Lancer and Inspira didn't have any major facelift like the other 2.
-Premium-feeling features like paddle shift, auto headlight, cruise control, leather seats.
-Driver cockpit is very spacious (especially leg room) and close to D-seg.
-Deep down inside, the soul is Mitsubishi. You get mature and stable Japanese design at very valued price.
-No rear A/C vent.
-Original head unit is very dated.
-Suspension is prone to noises.
-Turning radius is bad, it will take you few turns to park the car.
-Very "plastic-y" inside out, but understandable for such price position.
Not much to be improved and it has been discontinued, and Proton weren't allowed to change much considering this is a rebadged.

If your budget is around the 80K mark, its definitely the perfect car to get. I would even recommend this car compared to a few more expensive cars out there. It has the looks, it drives great. Definitely the best deal for your money.

-Nice to drive. Very responsive engine and transmission. Better handling than more expensive car i drove.

-Good fuel efficiency. Can get up to 800 km full tank balik kampung. Some time the fuel consumption reading can achieve 5.6 bila ikut jalan lama tak banyak kereta but average reading is 6.5 - 6.8
-Nice audio and GPS combo.
-Very stable at high speed (make sure the tyres are good to get this)
-Not enough air bag to feel safe.
-Side mirror don't have auto flip.
-Don't have auto lock. Have to lock it manually. Not a big issue but not safe for people who just start and go without taking extra precaution to lock the door.
-Spareparts very expensive ma if usig the original mitsubishi one. Oil filter 3x more expensive than my previous Unser. Just reach 60k last 2 month and have to do major service including cvt oil and fuel filter replacement. The whole service cost me more than 1.2k. The fuel filter only cost more than RM400!!! and it takes more than 2 hours to change it because it is located just under the back seat. So after service you will get a smell of petrol for several days.
-Stock tyre is not good enough, botak and giving weird sound after 40K. Changed to yokohama at kedai papan, kapar and now more silence and more comfort.
-The spring/suspension harder than toyo and hond so the ride may less comfort but lot more better handlig.

Front and back bumper design is ugly, change it
-Good engine, 200 Nm of torque.
-6 speed gearbox with torque converter, gives better acceleration when needed
-Nice paddle shift, making the car fun to drive
-Sporty look and luxurious interior style
-Comfort ride and better cornering
-GPS and entertainment system makes travelling better and easier
-Simply, value for money.
-Quite a heavy car, quite lagging at traffic light (if without torque converter)
-Some 'leaves' likes to get into 'clearance' especially bonnet and hood area (they stuck in there even after car wash)
-Not really good fuel efficiency compared to many cars
-Make options for R3 bodykit, much better than 'super premium' version
-Make options for supercharger/turbocharger upgrade (OEM)
-Better GPS system, the current sometimes lagging during route changes

- Freezing air-con. Never too hot in the afternoon.

- The radio has a weak reception. Always being interfere.
- Driver's armrest should has mounted higher. It's too low.
- Door auto lock is highly demand in the market.
- Car boot opening sound is kind of unpleasant.

- Best part is why pay RM30k more for the same product + extra Lotus Ride & Handling
- Fuel consumption not the best in class
- Black Sach Sticker at B-Pillar tends to peel-off easily (already claim warranty for the 4th time)
- lack of TC and only comes with 2 airbags
- I am a happy owner despite facing some minor defects and all problems solved during warranty period
- As I was the 1st batch owner, I suffered squeaky sound from absorber when pass through a speed bump. Problem was solved later but I do hope that Proton should test the product in detail before hand over to the customers.
Ever wondered what would it be like to own a national car that is priced from RM80k to RM90k++, having your friends, relatives and even strangers comment about your choice. For about the same amount, you could have gotten the Usual Suspects in the Import 'B' Segment cars in the market. Well, if you are more concerned about the badge that is in front or the rear of a car, then please refrain from reading further as not to waste your time. For those that are really intrigue to understand, this owner review would prove informative.
Exterior: Besides the fact that it is basically a Lancer with 'localized' front and rear bumper (from first glance), it basically looks like a Lancer. If you like the looks of a Lancer, than this car is still pleasing to the eyes. Though, after having it for some time, I can say that the body of the car is some what prone to dings (when other car doors just happen to bash into your car).
Interior: It is based on a car that was launched in 2008. If you were shopping for a car in 2008, this would not prove to be a problem. So, if you have a 2008 Civic, the interior is at the same level. The best part of the interior? The stereo just connect to Bluetooth flawlessly (best feature in the Inspira)
Power: If you come forwards from driving a car with far lesser horsepower, that this car has guts (especially when you get the manual which I have). However, the low-end torque is not as much as the rivals, but once you rev it up to above 4000 rpm, basically it gets up to speed, making overtaking a breeze.
Comfort: Did I mention about the Bluetooth connectivity that just works flawlessly? The ride is stiffer as compared to a Vios, but well enough to do in Malaysia roads. Though you do need to drive faster to appreciate the comfort.
Fuel Consumption: I got on average 7.5l/100km in PURE city driving, start stop traffic with not much constant speed. 8.5l/100km if you rev it all the time from one traffic light to another. So, is fuel consumption an issue? You decide.
Value: If you want a new C segment sedan with just RM80k++, this is the car to get if you don't mind the badge. I didn't care much about it, even though I could have easily afford the Lancer, or even the new Accord. The reason I got this car is that it competitively priced for what it is (which is basically a rebadge).

- Some what easy to ding from other cars. (may be an inherent issue from the Lancer)
- No leather seat option for the 1.8MT
- No option for a 2.0L Manual Transmission.
- Improve the NVH (not as quite in the cabin at speeds above 120km/h)

- Service centers professional are clueless in this model (in my hometown, there are only 2 SC)
