Bought used, Owned for 5 Years
Fuel Economy: 12.0 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
- Sporty & smart exterior design. I absolutely fall in love with its LED signature lights and the 17" Rims, which really made the car look upmarket.
- One of the rare cars which I feel does not need any extra mods to make it look better.
- Good safety features, with 6 airbags, ESC, ABD, Hill Descent Control etc.
- Lots of convenience features for the price - Keyless entry, push start, Auto Headlights, Auto Wiper
- Sunroof!! Kids absolutely love it and it's truly a differentiating feature for this car as it's not offered in any of it's key competitors
- Interior quality, although it's mostly using hard plastics, feels Robust and High grade! Unlike those used in Toyota or Honda which feels scratchy & Hollow
- Comfortable front seats
- Despite only using a 1.4NA engine, the car never felt underpowered.
- Good handling, despite the steering having a lighter feel. The car feels planted on highways and maintain its posture when cornering.
- Fairly easy & affordable to service & maintain. It's using an old school NA engine and 4AT gearbox, with not many electronics to play with.
- Very low Ground Clearance. The bottom gets scraped a lot especially on full load
- Despite having comparable dimensions to other B-Segment hatchback, the space inside is quite limited.
- Rear seats are a tad too upright (not as bad as Perodua Bezza though)
- With such an awesome exterior design, it's such a shame that Kia fitted Halogen bulbs for its front headlights.and fog lights. Wished it came with Full LED
- Limited aftermarket parts
- Fuel consumption is higher than Honda Jazz and Toyota Yaris (You lose roughly 50KM range for every RM50 compared to these 2 cars)
To improve
- Better interior packaging to make more efficient use of space.
- Aftermarket support
Yes, I would recommend this car
