1.8 VL (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 5 Years
Fuel Economy: 9.0 km/litre (11.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,000 km/month
    - Fuel consumption is good, not the best. It shines during full highway journeys.
    - Largest cabin in the segment, Altis, Civic and Mazda3 look tiny in comparison
    - Comfortable and minimalist cabin, it doesnt shine but if you sit in the VL, the finishing is really good
    - Cornering and vehicle stability is suprisingly good, helps to upgrade to 215/50/17
    - A very comfortable vehicle tbh but that's all it really is, a comfort based vehicle for family
    - Relatively overpriced vehicle with its specs regardles of E or VL variant
    - Its relatively underpowered for a car this size to be 1.8
    - Media system is rubbish, Tan Chong being cheapos
    - Should follow US and include additional features such as Eco Mode
    - Should only be serviced by Nissan, outside mechs dont know how to work on this car
To Improve
- Pricing needs to be competitive, that's why this Sylphy sales so low. Previous gen did way better
- More features
- Need to do better soundproofing for the wheel archs and fenders if this is to be truly marketed as a comfort oriented vehicle
- Overpriced but would recommend as a second hand vehicle due to its low RV.
Yes, I would recommend this car

Fuel Economy: 18.7 km/litre (5.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
    - Comfortable for driver and you won't feel tired even after a long distance drive;
    - Comfortable for passenger, coz spacious, rear aircond, wide legroom.
    - Good fuel consumption
    - Sporty looking with the Impul Bodykit.
    - CVT very smooth and S mode powerful.
    - Water flashing sound from the rear wheel during rainny day.
    - no resell value.
To Improve
Should include more safety features, such as 360 angle camera, ECO mode and better headunit.

1.8 VL (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 9.9 km/litre (10.1 L/100 km), RON97, Mileage: 500 km/month
-Fuel efficiency is okay.. i got 9.9KM/per liter with sometime push down fuel
-The look, i got it with complete IMPUL (17'inch Wheel/Sport spring/Body kit)
-Space/comfort is good.. do not feel tied down in journey *Leather :)/rear.aircond
-6 air bag, all fancy breaking and stability drive..
-510Liter boot space(single adult body can be fit NP)
-REally ? LCD screen 4.3inch ? no included GPS/multimedia ? come on.. RM125K(with insurance) can give that 6-7inch lcd with Gps? Tan Chong?(option cost RM3K?)
-no Clock for RM115K-RM125K car ?
-back seat cannot be fold down to make large space boot.
-Tyre Arc/ or Fender rear can hear Water flow noise when is raining or wet road.. Cheap off on arc soundproofing.
    -1.8L engine.. downgrade previous Sylphy..
To Improve
-bigger lcd screen is 2015! get it 6 or non!
-add clock... car is not CHEAP! price RM115K-125K a separate clock wont cost RM1K to be add to interior.
-able to fully fold back seat to make boot bigger.. ?
-add soundproofing for Rear Arc wheel..
-2.0L engine

Benard
1.8 VL (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 6.6 km/litre (15.2 L/100 km), RON97, Mileage: 3,200 km/month
    - Low wind noise, even travel at 140KM/H
    - Good fuel consumption
    - Rear air-cond vent
    - Very cozy front seats but rear seats less comfortable if compare with previous generation of Sylphy.
    - Huge car boot and large legroom
    - Not user-friendly Multi-Information Display (MID), limited info display at one time, user need to keep switching to see different info, eg: Average fuel consumption, Distance to Empty and trip odometer are show on different screen.
    - 3rd generation CVT transmission, not as smooth as previous CVT (I also owned a 2010 Sylphy). You can feel a ‘sudden acceleration’ at speed 40-50 KM/H range
    - Limited storage space if compare with previous generation of Sylphy. Very small center console and strange glovebox layout.
    - Handbrake scarified a lot of space for center console; I still prefer footbrake in this case.
To Improve
- Footbrake
- Bigger center console
- Re-design MID layout
- Clip for currency note and parking ticket
- Make trunk tray a standard accessory
Yes, I would recommend this car

Good safety feature with 6 airbags.
very comfy for my family...produce less noise event at high speed.
easy to service...tceas are everywhere and have online reservation.
Overall exterior design is a bit humble in relative to its competitors.
Not really liking the steering audio control. Kind of cheap feeling.
To Improve
No idea
