The way it drives, confident on the highways, solid when handling corners. Aurcond is as good as any proton. Sound system is a plus. Interior space and boot space is definitely on par with class leaders.
NVH could be better, fuel economy is just acceptable. The infotainment system needs an upgrade as no apple carplay or android auto. Hey proton is basically a gimmick. Had an issue with the airbag warning system that kept going on, took almost 7 visits to the service centre and now it seems to be fixed.
To Improve
Fuel eficiency, NVH and infotainment. Also needs other safety features like automated braking, and blindspot monitoring
Yes, I would recommend this car

    - the cheapest B-segment sedan in the market
    - the MC2 comes with better ergonomics e.g centre armrest, handbrake relocated.
    - premium variant comes with better quality leather
    - the MC2's overall perceived quality improved tremendously over the 2016 model.
    - the retuned Punch CVT does not jerk a lot. there isnt a need to modulate the accelerator while in stop-go condition
    - the Premium variant comes with front LED lights, a major improvement
    - not very fuel efficient in town, seriously
    - sound proofing is quite good, but still lags behind newer competitions
    - safety feature lags behind newer competitions, at least give us Blind-Spot-Monitoring. No AEB, no problem but BSM also can't?
    - at times you will get the infamous Punch CVT jerk if you give a sudden acceleration. other than that, all is good
To Improve
- better safety feature like BSM, RCTA at least.
- lower variants to get LED lights/projectors the very least
- improve fuel efficiency, this is a must as all car manufacturers is heading towards zero-emission
Yes, I would recommend this car

    - huge and spacious boot. A family friendly sedan.
I put this at the first list because this what make Persona MC2 standout from other competitor. Very comfortable seat. Ive tried vios, city and bezza but non can beat the comfort of persona. Higher headroof compare to vios and city.
    - handling and driving experience
As an agressive driver like aggressive cornering and only stay at right lane(kdding), i am impress with persona handling. The only car knowledge proton preserve from lotus and mitsubishi is handling. Cheap price but entry level expensive handling and driving experience. If they also preserve the knowlede how to make good engine.. i believe proton can beat perodua. But hey cerita lama usah dikenang.
    - super sejuk air cond
Proton air conditioner is not a joke.
    - premium and modern interior feeling
Everyone impress when i said persona only 60k. how a cheaper car can have premium feeling. Compare to saga which still have old school interior.
    - back seat headrest
Come on la proton. Its a Fing cheap mechanism. Even your iriz has detachable headrest. Why your FAMILY sedan doesnt have that cheap mechanism? You doesnt need any complex motor german engineering physic to make detachable and moveable headrest !
    - CVT
The current CVT is good. Dont get me wrong. They really improve their cvt engine since MC1. But still lack of power from 0 to 30. After that everything good. You can brake and still gain power. The lack only happen when you go from static to moving. Like at traffic light.
    - power window
Idk la.. its a cancer inside proton DNA. Every proton will have this issue. After 2 months i get my car, my driver side window cant close.. lucky they have stock and service on the same day.
    - rattling rattle dashboard
You know what, honda also have this same problem. Lol. So you can choose buy cheaper car get rattle dashboard or pay honda and get rattle dashboard. But one thing proton easier to claim compare to honda. Honda banyak cekadak and yet cant claim even under warranty. Said this with my own experience ?.

    - BEWARE OF PROTON COOLANT
I read alot of problem with proton coolant that can cause rust inside radiator. The solution is do flushing at ouside workshop and use Toyota Coolant. If still insist to use proton coolant, then always check your radiator.
    - makan minyak
Lack of power should make it less oil comsumption like vios, but persona. Highway or long drive, i can go from Johor Bahru to Kuantan and still have 3 bar.. only tomorrow night after another drive in kuantan it left with 1 bar.. city drive is bad, but long drive is good.
    - leg room
Small leg room for someone who 168 and above. Most of my friend are 170+ .. so 3 person is excellent 4 person just okay 5 person, maybe 1 person should lay in boot la.. proton gave spacious boot but it cost the legroom for back passenger
To Improve
- again, a Fing backseat HEADREST
- a smooth and refined cvt but need to tune for more power.

Here my conclusion.
If you have alot of money, buy vios
If not, just buy persona. Nanti dah kaya, you buy la another expensive car.
Yes, I would recommend this car
