    Ride and handling are where the Polo Sedan shines. The firm ride over road undulations doesn't send judders into the cabin. Body roll is apparent, but it doesn't make the Polo Sedan go off course easily. The steering wheel is direct and light enough to ease manoeuvre at low speed.     The 1.6 litre MPI engine wouldn't win you any race at the traffic light junction, and felt that the Polo Sedan could use a little more power on the highway for safe overtaking.

    -Firm handling without understeer/oversteer on tight corner
    -Splendid interior design and quality
    -NVH level could be improve
    -Below average fuel consumption

    Love the shape, size and build quality of this car. Handles reasonably well and easy to drive especially for female drivers. Power output is adequate for city driving and long distance travel is not a hassle with proper boot space.
    centre arm rest is not available which is important for long distance travelling.

    It very easy to maneuver where space is limited.
    Steering wheel is light and easy to drive in city area
    Somehow can feel the quality from Toyota.
    SE has better looking exterior
    Handling getting worse once the car pass 90km/h.
    Car is not stable in highway speed, for instance, when cruising in 110km/h.
    Air conditioning is very loud from outside.
    The car will have obvious under-power if all four passenger on board.
    Suspension is too bumpy

    Well balance chassis as the same as any other BMW, so you have confident during any cornering maneuver. Excellent Fuel Economy with average of 7.2l/100km combine - mostly Urban, while on the highway is possible to actually achieve the 4.5l/100km. Generous amount of cabin space and boot space making it the perfect family car.
    Diesel engine clatter noise could actually be heard from the cabin during warm up. Can't feel that in a 520d, meaning the NVH done on this 3 series is less. Start Stop function doesn't work that well with vibration feels quite bad during the re-start of the engine. In Malaysia, I think this function is pretty useless especially in a bad traffic [...]

    the sportier look.
    the interior color is very nice
    The look is classic but more sportier.
    The interior built is so nice with the trim color followed the body color.
    The DSG gearbox perform very well with the 1.2 turbocharged engine.
    The handling is quite descent.
    The trunk bonnet is quite large for me.
    The road tax is so cheap.

    - Fuel consumption is fairly good compared to older model,
    - Spacious,
    - Stability during long distance,
    - Good handling,
    - Value for money - get sedan below rm50k, can save money for other use!
    - Service cost is quite high compared to other Malaysian model,
    - CVT is not meant for racing, drive slowly and it will serve us happily
    - wind noise is noticeable, NVH not at par as competitor is same segment.

    Looks very mean and imposing. Diesel engine relatively fuel saving compared to the petrol model and sounds great, like a V8! I generally use about 9 litres per 100km with some heavy footed driving. xDrive system is very capable. Ground clearance allows lots of 'creative' parking.
    Build quality is rubbish. For example - sliding second row seat had trouble locking into place properly, so it rattled a lot. DVD player slot also rattled, can only make it go away by putting my finger into the slot. Luggage area also had random rattles. Suspension way too hard for Malaysian roads.

    Fantastic fuel consumption. Well tuned and comfortable suspension setup. Pleasant looking interior.
    Build quality leaves a lot to be desired. Cupholder and various other things all rattling, could be because of the diesel engine low rev vibration. Warranty relatively short. BSRI "free service" misleading when you're actually encouraged to service more often, so only every other service is free.
