Fuel Economy: 7.3 km/litre (13.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 5,000 km/month
The gadgets are fantastic. When I was looking for a new second car, I was looking at other C-Segment main contenders; Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, VW Jetta, Toyota Altis, Kia Cerato and Proton Inspira. I compared the price, running costs, performance, equipment, comfort and ride, and also fuel consumption. And thenI also came across[...]
The KIA brand itself is normally associated with cheap and unattractive cars. KIA has grown and improved so much since then. The resale value is strong ever since they introduced the Forte. The build quality is brilliant. The design is sleek. Lots of modern equipment for GREAT value.

1.8 TFSI (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 13.0 km/litre (7.7 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,400 km/month
Good torque and effortless overtaking and pickup! Smooth long journey cruiser. Wonderful sound system! Very economy on fuel consumption when drive with good anticipation and moderate speed. one can easily achieved 5.9L/100km on highway and free traffic road in Malaysian wheather (aircond on, music on)
Elastic feel the gearbox... as it is CVT (Multitronic). Steering feel a little artificial. Suspension a tad too stiff even in Comfort mode.

Value for money with the inclusion of ABS, EBD in addition of twin airbags

Advanced 5-Door with Tech Pack (2014)
Bought new, Owned for 1 Year
Fuel Economy: 12.5 km/litre (8.0 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,500 km/month
Excellent build quality with a very stiff chassis
    No turbo lag
More than ample power due to the high amount of torque
    Very good handling
The DCC drive profile selection is fun to use
The front seats are very firm, not comfortable
Small 5.8" screen although it behaves like a smart phone screen
    No LED rear lights
    Limited colour choices available
Not a con - don't upgrade to the 19" rims, it will be very harsh. The stock 18" is good enough.

Fuel Economy: 12.0 km/litre (8.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 2,000 km/month
-Awesome looking exterior, both front & rear. LED-combi rear and DRL front. Aerodynamic design.
-Interior dashboard quality are all soft touch plastic, everything interior are solid, material are total continental-car-like

-as a 1st batch owner, our vehicle don't have GPS navigation and 7" display like 2014 owner.
-Too soft rear suspension like any other C-segment, coz most of C-segment dont use multilink suspension like D-segment for rear and it's tuned to "comfort" hence the soft rear spring rate, on full loading of passenger car will bottom when going thru hum[...]

Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 13.7 km/litre (7.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,700 km/month
    - Good handling, very easy to park, good visibility.
    - Sounds cliche but, magic seats are really useful sometimes to carry tall items.
    - Decent performance, electric motor gives the car an added boost.
    - Tall roof and big windscreen really makes the car feels bigger than it is.
    - My CBU model has lots more features such as airbags, cruise co[...]
    - CVT gearbox is jerky at low speeds, especially during traffic jams, multiplied by electric motor which cuts in and out and jerks it even more. Apparently its normal; I brought it to two service centers and the reply was "it's normal lah". At speed the car is smooth nevertheless.
    - Sound proofing could be better, lots of road noise at highway [...]

Fuel Economy: 16.0 km/litre (6.3 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 1,800 km/month
Space - plenty of interior space. Versatile seat arrangement can accommodate all my luggage ferrying needs.
Fuel economy - frugal for a car this size.
Suspension comfort - ride is compliant and comfortable. Long wheel base helps calming the body movement.
12 cup holders - that is a record.
Air condition - powerful and cools very quickly.[...]
NVH - too much noise intrusion. Noise are generated from tyres and engine. Maybe a tyres change will help. Engine noise extremely apparent in cabin 2800 rpm and above. Trims are making a fair bit of noise too.
Tyre - factory fitted silverstones are not good enough. Apart from noise, there is very little grip offered especially when it is wet. [...]
