Bought new, Owned for 2 Years
Fuel Economy: 11.0 km/litre (9.1 L/100 km), RON95, Mileage: 3,500 km/month
I like the look and the stability of this car. Fuel efficiency is very good for a D segment car. Highway cruising at 110kmph burn 60L Ron 95 for 900km. Normal mixed driving range at 650km for 60L. Sufficient power and torque for a careful driver like me who like smooth sailing.
Sound proof could be better particularly during raining. GPS user interface is not so friendly. No touch screen, data entry is very troublesome and data searching is rather inconvenient due to segmentation problem.
To Improve
Rear leg room could be improved particularly in the middle of the rear seat.

First of all, being a 1.6l turbocharged car, I was quite impressed of how the heavy Pug is being accelerated from standstill. I love how the centre "i-drive" system was laid out. The stylish and sleek interior never failed to impress me and many of my friends. Besides, the 10 JBL HIFI system that are built in are adequate enough to take care of your ears. What has received many envious from other owners is the Head Up Display (HUD) system where it is only available at some higher premium vehicles. Besides, the vehicle is also well insulated against the engine noise that you will have a sudden thought of driving a hybrid. Given the money forked out, I myself can assure that the features and build quality that comes with will worth every penny you spent! Ohh, did I mentioned that the Peugeot 508 is the among very few D-Segment car that offers quad zone air conditioning at this price?
Despite the decent build quality, the rear speaker board casing tend to crack easily. This creates unwanted squeeky sound when crossing the uneven road. However not to worry because it is covered under the warranty programme. The down side was the rear windshield doesn't comes in auto.
To Improve
The gear shift should be improved to more instaneous feel.
